Party Details

The aim of the day is provide over 2,200 Special Children with one of the best days of their lives. The children invited to the party come from four major groups: either physically impaired, intellectually impaired, those suffering from a life threatening illness and children living in disadvantaged circumstances because of either environmental or economic reasons. The children are sourced through various community, charity and Government organisations who deal with these children on a daily or weekly basis.

The party will kick off at 10am and go for three fun filled hours during which the children will be treated to a star studded stage show featuring many local and national artists. In the past we have had the support of Prime Minister Helen Clark, America's Cup Skipper Dean Barker, Kevin Smith from Xena and Hercules, The Warriors, Jason Faafoi & Props Boy from "What Now", The Mad Butcher, The Young New Zealanders and heaps of other sporting stars!

There will be a 3 and a half hour stage show featuring various celebrities and performances. During this time the children enjoy the various activities such as face painting, jumping castles, hoop shooting, pony rides, Army displayes and merry go rounds! With all this fun to be had, the children will need all the hot-dogs, chips, lollies, ice creams and drinks that we can provide.

There is no mistaking the main 'celebrity' of the day and that is Father Christmas. Santa has the ability to drag any child away from what they were doing and have their complete attention. He will arrive in spectacular fashion (in the past he has arrived in a Ferrari, on Horseback with Mark Todd, on a sleigh pulled by 2 Newfoundland dogs) and after greeting all the children from the stage, he will meet with every child in his Toy Room as they come to collect 3-4, high quality personal, Christmas Presents. There were over 7000 gifts last year including educational lap top computers, slot car racing sets, solar powered radio torches, colour changing CD holders, remote controlled cars & trucks, musical keyboards, large soft toys that play tunes, sports bags, educational building blocks and more!
